Will Thorair dehumidifiers work on Malaysian power?
Yes. Malaysia runs 240 volts at 50 hertz, which is what Thorair equipment is built for. Only the plug differs: fit a BS 1363 plug or use a heavy-duty adaptor rated for at least 10 amps.
How many dehumidifiers does a flooded house need?
As a rule of thumb, one 70L or 90L unit plus six to eight air movers handles a typical single-storey terrace house after a monsoon flood. Larger or two-storey homes and shoplots usually need two dehumidifiers. Send us the floor area and we will size it for you.
How long does delivery to Malaysia take?
Air freight for one or two units typically arrives within one to two weeks of dispatch from Queensland. Pallet orders by sea freight take three to five weeks; we confirm the timing with your freight quote before dispatch.
